The International HIV/AIDS Alliance (the Alliance) is an international NGO, which was established in 1993 to support communities affected by HIV/AIDS to play a full and effective role in national and global responses to HIV/AIDS. Since its inception, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 2,000 HIV/AIDS-related projects in more than 40 countries in Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The Technical Advisor is a new post within the Eastern Europe and Central Asia team of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance Secretariat. The post is based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with extensive travel to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The successful candidate will be a highly-motivated self-starter who is able to work independently and as a field-based member of a team.
